Characteristic of mobbing phenomenon and its occurrence in the workplace

Tematem niniejszej pracy licencjackiej jest charakterystyka zjawiska mobbingu i jego występowanie w miejscu pracy. Kwestie związane z występowaniem tego zjawiska, stanowią obecnie niezwykle istotny, a jednocześnie ciągle niewystarczająco zbadany problem społeczny. Z uwagi na bardzo złożony charakter zjawiska, koniecznym jest dokonanie możliwie jak najdokładniejszej jego analizy, ukazanie przyczyn i skutków, które ze sobą niesie oraz wskazanie, które czynniki przyczyniają się do jego powstawania. Niezwykle ważne jest także scharakteryzowanie grup, biorących w nim bezpośredni udział - mobberów oraz ich ofiar. Celem pracy było ukazanie, jak duża jest skala występowania mobbingu w miejscu pracy pośród pracowników różnych branż.Niniejsza praca składa się z dwóch części: teoretycznej oraz empirycznej. Rozważania w niej zawarte, oparte zostały na dużej liczbie pozycji bibliograficznych oraz samodzielnie przygotowanych, przeprowadzonych oraz opracowanych na potrzeby tej konkretnej pracy badań empirycznych.

The subject of this dissertation is characteristic of mobbing phenomenon and its occurrence in the workplace. Nowadays, issues related to the occurrence of this question represent extremely significant and simultaneously inadequately investigated social problem. Due to the very complex nature of mobbing phenomenon, it is necessary to provide the most accurate analysis, to present causes and results as well as to indicate which of these factors contribute to development of this phenomenon. It is also very important to characterize groups taking direct part in it – the mobbers and their victims. The main goal of this study was to present how large is the scale of mobbing phenomenon in the workplace among the people who working in various sectors. This work consists of two parts: theoretical and empirical. It contains considerations based on a wide bibliographical list and on results of empirical researches that were independently prepared, performed and developed for the purpose of this dissertation.
