The financial management of local government in Poland on the example of Jordanów commune in 2007-2011.

Głównym celem pracy jest pokazanie jak wygląda gospodarka finansowa samorządu terytorialnego w Polsce. Praca składa się z czterech rozdziałów, trzech teoretycznych i jednego empirycznego. W pierwszym rozdziale poruszono tematykę ogólnego pojęcia samorządu terytorialnego oraz obecnego kształtu samorządu lokalnego w Polsce. W kolejnym rozdziale omówiony została budżet jednostek samorządu terytorialnego i jego rola w kształtowaniu gospodarki finansowej. W trzecim rozdziale autorka skupiła się na źródłach dochodów i wydatkach polskich gmin. W ostatnim rozdziale przedstawiona została analiza struktury dochodów i wydatków gminy Jordanów w latach 2007-2011.

The main aim of this work is to present financial management of local government in Poland. The work consist of four chapters, the three theoretical and one empirical. The first chapters deal with the general theme of the concept of local government and the current form of local government in Poland. The next chapter discussed budget of local governments and its role in shaping the financial management. In the third chapter the author focused on a source of revenue and expenditure of Polish communes. The last chapter presents an analysis of the structure of commune revenue and expenditure of Jordanów in 2007-2011.
