Culture-oriented role of local media on the example of Sędziszów Małopolski

This thesis is an analysis of local media in terms of cultural content. The analysis is based on two papers: "Sędziszowski Bulletin" and "Reporter", which are reckoned in the community newspaper titles in Sędziszów Małopolski.Culture-oriented role of local media is a broad concept, defined in many ways. The local press can act as a stimulator of culture and its promoter, and may favor its development and the creation of such as political culture.This paper provides information about the history of the community, local media and their characteristics and functions. The analysis concerns the local culture and cultural events - entertainment in local press. It studies the content associated with the creators of art, monuments and cultural and tourism values.The work offers an insight into the richness of the content of the culture, which appear in the journal of "Sędziszowski Bulletin" and "Reporter".

Niniejsza praca magisterska jest analizą zawartości prasy lokalnej pod względem treści kulturowych. Analiza oparta jest na dwóch gazetach: „Biuletyn Sędziszowski” i „Reporter”, które są liczącymi się tytułami prasowymi w gminie Sędziszów Małopolski. Kulturotwórczość mediów lokalnych jest pojęciem szerokim, definiowanym na wiele sposobów. Lokalna prasa może pełnić rolę stymulatora kultury i jej promotora, a także może sprzyjać jej kształtowaniu i tworzeniu np. kultury politycznej.W pracy znajdują się informacje o historii gminy, mediów lokalnych oraz ich charakterystyka i funkcje. Analiza dotyczy kultury lokalnej i wydarzeń kulturalno – rozrywkowych na łamach prasy lokalnej. Badaniu poddano również treści związane z twórcami artystycznymi, zabytkami i walorami kulturalno – turystycznymi. Praca pozwala zapoznać się z bogactwem treści o kulturze, które pojawiają się na łamach „Biuletynu Sędziszowskiego” i „Reportera”.
