The history and activities of the Department of the Polish Highlanders in Ludźmierz.

The theme of the work is to present the history and activities of the Polish Highlanders in Ludźmierz. Its purpose is to show the activity of the Department of the Polish Highlanders Ludźmierskiego mainly in the fields of culture, but also social and present profiles of some of the prominent activists against the outline of the history of the Highlanders Association.Of great importance was the same village Ludźmierz - the oldest town in the Podhale and its religious character by the 600-year presence of the Virgin Mary Ludzmierz - Queen of the Podhale.Work also reveals the whole story of the Polish Highlanders as the largest regional organization in Podhale.

Tematem pracy jest przedstawienie historii i działalności Związku Podhalan w Ludźmierzu. Jej celem jest ukazanie działalności Ludźmierskiego Oddziału Związku Podhalan głównie w dziedzinie kulturalnej, ale również społecznej oraz przedstawienie sylwetek niektórych wybitnych działaczy na tle zarysu historii całego Związku Podhalan. Ważne znaczenie miała sama wieś Ludźmierz – najstarsza miejscowość na Podhalu i jej sanktuaryjny charakter przez 600-letnią obecność Matki Boskiej Ludźmierskiej – Królowej Podhala.Praca ukazuje także historię całego Związku Podhalan jako największej organizacji regionalnej na Podhalu.
