In the following thesis the authoress is analysing metrical composition of the 6th book of Ovid's „Metamorphoses” trying to show, how metre conveys emotions of characters.The introduction includes informations about previous research on Ovid's metre and presents the main aims of the thesis.The next chapter contains general informations about „Metamorphoses” and short summary of the 6th book.In following chapters the authoress analises choosen parts of each tale of 6th book of „Metamorphoses” and depicts the influence of metre on emotions of characters.The last chapter contains conclusions based on previous analysis.
