Celem niniejszej pracy jest porównanie postaci Abrahama, Izaaka i Izmaela w tradycji judaistycznej i islamskiej. Obie te religie powstałe i ukształtowane w różnym czasie powołują się na te wspólne korzenie wiary.Rozdział pierwszy zawiera podstawowe informacje dotyczące świętych ksiąg Judaizmu i Islamu, czyli Biblii hebrajskiej i Koranu, które były głównym i najważniejszym źródłem informacji podczas powstawania pracy.W rozdziale drugim przedstawione są losy Abrahama i jego synów zgodnie z tym co podaje Biblia hebrajska. Kolejny rozdział ukazuje ich historię z perspektywy Islamu.

The aim of this study was to compare the Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael in the Judaic and Islamic traditions. Both of these religions formed and shaped at different times rely on these common roots of faith.The first chapter provides basic information about the holy books of Judaism and Islam, the Hebrew Bible and the Koran, which was the main and most important source of information during the formation of this study.The second section shows the fate of Abraham and his sons, according to what gives the Hebrew Bible. The next chapter shows their history from the perspective of Islam
