The linguistic image of the world of soul and heart in Russian phraseology

The subject of the thesis is the linguistic image of the world of soul and heart in Russian phraseology. The research material has been taken from phraseological dictionaries (Karolak, Молотков, Яранцев ,Молотков i Цеслиньска).The thesis presents the outline of a linguistic image of the world based on theories of the following scholars: M. Luther, H. Christmann, Johann – George Hamann, J. Gottfried Herder, W. von Humboldt, L. Weisgerber, H. Gipper. Definitions by J. Bartmiński, R. Tokarski, J. Maćkowiak have also been presented.Apart from the linguistic image of the World dictionary definitions of phraseological expressions and definitions of soul and heart as well as perceiving and treating of soul and heart by native speakers have been presented. Phraseological expressions have been divided into three key groups: souls, heart and souls/heart. Then the division into individual subgroups characteristic for particular phraseological expressions has been made.The division is based mainly on the way of perceiving the components of soul and heart in phraseological expressions by ordinary language users; that is why, each mentioned phraseological expression is accompanied by an example containing aforementioned phraseological expression, thus underlying at the same time the context in which a given phraseological expression can be used.

Tematem niniejszej pracy jest Językowy obraz świata duszy i serca we frazeologii rosyjskiej. Materiał badawczy został zaczerpnięty ze słowników frazeologicznych (Karolak, Молотков, Яранцев ,Молотков i Цеслиньска). W owej pracy został przedstawiony zarys językowego obrazu świata w oparciu o przedstawione teorie uczonych, t.j. M. Lutra, H. Christmanna, Johanna – Georga Hamanna, J. Gottfrieda Herdera, W. von Humboldta, L. Weisgerbera, H. Gippera, zostały przytoczone definicje również J. Bartmińskiego, R. Tokarskiego, J. Maćkowiak. Oprócz językowego obrazu świata, zostały również podane słownikowe definicje frazeologizmów oraz definicje duszy i serca, a także postrzeganie i traktowanie duszy i serca przez nosicieli języka. Zebrane frazeologizmy zostały podzielone na trzy kluczowe działy: dusze, serce, oraz dusze/serce. Następnie został dokonany podział na poszczególne charakterystyczne dla danych frazeologizmów podrozdziały. Podział oparty był głównie na sposobie poszczegania komponentów duszy i serca we frazeologizmach przez zwykłych użytkowników języka dlatego też, każdy z wymienionych frazeologizmów został opatrzony w przykład z uwzględnieniem wcześniej wymienionego frazeologizmu, podkreślając tym samym w jakim kontekście dany frazeologizm może zostać użyty.
