Vladimir Putin as the Phenomenom of the Russian Pop Culture

The main aim of this work is to prove the thesis of the phenomenon of Vladimir Putin in the Russian popular culture. This is a very interesting subject of study, as president of Russia, he became a an idol for the modern Russian society. In our work we analised creations of Russian society. Mailny in the Internet, because it is an area where people in Russia are free to comment on current events and where they are very active. We used to our analisys: the web comic of Sergei Kalenik Super Putin, Moscow State University students calendars, online game Like Putin, popular songs, videos and much more. The first chapter contains the essential facts constituting the historical background of Russia, when Vladimir Putin appeared on the political arena. We presented his way to power and an influence he has on people. Also we have made a theoretical part on mass and popular culture. The second chapter contains an analysis of web comics and analysis of the impact of the Internet on Russian society.In the third chapter we analyze the other creations of Russian pop culture, such as online game, rumors about Putin and his presence in the western culture. 'In the end we analyze his figure on the background of the presidential election in 2012 and social response to this event.

Głównym celem pracy było udowodnienie tezy o fenomenie Władimira Putina w rosyjskiej popkulturze. Do analizy zostały wykorzystane opracowania naukowe, materiały prasowe, fotografie, filmiki, piosenki oraz wiele innych. W poszczególnych rozdziałach przedstawiliśmy tło historyczno-społeczne Rosji okresu, w którym Władimir Putin zdobywał władze, najważniejsze fakty z jego biografii, teoretyczną część dotyczącą kultury masowej i popularnej, oraz w końcu analizę tworów społeczeństwa rosyjskiego w sferze popkultury: komiksu internetowego Siergieja Kalenika, gry komputerowej, popularnych piosenek, plotek na temat życia prywatnego Putina, kalendarzy studentek Uniwersytetu Moskiewskiego oraz innych. W zakończeniu zamieściliśmy analizę odbioru społecznego sylwetki Władimira Putina na tle wyborów prezydenckich w Rosji w 2012 roku oraz przewidywania, co do jego dalszych losów na arenie polityczno-społecznej.
