Uwięzieni w świecie koszamrów sennych - rzeczywistość postaci literackich w "Procesie" Franza Kafki i "Po tamtej stronie" Alfreda Kubina

Niniejsza praca jest poświęcona wzajemnej relacji pomiędzy światem wewnętrznym i zewnętrznym bohaterów literackich w „Procesie“ Franza Kafki i „Po tamtej stronie“ Alfreda Kubina. Zależność ta jest ukazana w kontekście kryzysu wartości w literaturze okresu modernizmu. Celem pracy jest udowodnienie tezy, iż świat zewnętrzny w obu powieściach stanowi jednocześnie źródło, jak i odzwierciedlenie irracjonalnych lęków głównych postaci. Temat pracy jest rozwinięty w oparciu o psychoanalityczne i filozoficzne impulsy epoki, symboliczną płaszczyznę powieści oraz immanentną analizę tekstów.

The main purpose of the following thesis is to show the relation between the internal and external worlds of the main characters in Franz Kafka's "The Trial” and Alfred Kubin's "The Other Side”, in the context of the crisis of values in early 20th century literature. It will be proved that, in both novels, the external world is at the same time both the origin and reflection of irrational fear. The subject will be treated according to the psychoanalytic and philosophical impulses of modern literature, symbolism, and the text immanent approach.

In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird die gegenseitige Beziehung von der Außen- und Innenwelt der Protagonisten in dem „Prozess” von Franz Kafka und in „Die andere Seite“ von Alfred Kubin im Kontext des modernen Krisenbewusstseins untersucht. Dabei soll erwiesen werden, dass die Außenwelt in beiden Romanen gleichzeitig zum Ursprung als auch zum Spiegelbild irrationaler Angstzustände der Protagonisten wird. Die folgende Arbeit behandelt das Thema unter Berücksichtigung der psychoanalytischen und philosophischen Impulse der Epoche, der in den Werken enthaltenen symbolischen Ebene, sowie teximmanent.
