Functioning of care providers with regards to people after a long-term isolation

Celem pracy było prześledzenie jak funkcjonują instytucje, w których pomocy mogą szukać osoby po długoterminowej izolacji, jakiej pomocy udzielają, co oferują swoim beneficjentom. Z drugiej strony, starano się uzyskać informacje o problemach związanych z ich funkcjonowaniem, a w szczególności danych o tym, które z potrzeb osób opuszczających zakłady karne lub szpitalne psychiatryczne nie są zaspokajane przez system pomocowy, jakie są zdaniem pracowników tych instytucji warunki skutecznej pomocy osobom po długoterminowej izolacji oraz jakie zmiany ich zdaniem należałoby wprowadzić, by usprawnić działanie systemu.

The aim of the thesis was to analyze the way of functioning of institutions in which people after a long-term isolation can seek help, the kind of help these institutions provide and the offer they make to their beneficiaries. On the other hand, the thesis is an attempt to collect information about problems related to the functioning of these institutions, especially data about the needs of the patients leaving the penitentiaries, hospitals and mental institutions, which weren’t met by the relief system. The employees of these institutions were asked about the conditions of effective aid which should be delivered to people after a long –term isolation and the changes which should be implemented to improve the system.
