Analysis of financial statements for the example company WARS S. A.

The aim of the thesis is to present the financial statement analysis of the WARS S.A. At the beginning of the study the financial analysis was defined with its objectives and the rules used to prepare it. Then the information regarding sources and the addressees were described. Furthermore, the following concepts were presented: the particular elements of the financial statement, structure and dynamic financial analysis of the profit and loss account and the ratio analysis. Empirical part shows the evaluation of the financial standing of the WARS S.A. between 2008 and 2011. The ratio analysis was conducted as well as the structure and dynamic financial analysis. The analysis is based on the real data from the company sources.

Celem niniejszej pracy jest prezentacja analizy sprawozdań finansowych na przykładzie spółki WARS S. A. Na początku pracy podane zostały informacje dotyczące analizy finansowej, jej cele i zakres. Później znajdują się informacje dotyczące źródeł i adresatów analizy oraz pojęcie sprawozdania finansowego i zasady jego sporządzania. Następnie przedstawione zostały: elementy sprawozdania finansowego, charakterystyka analizy struktury i dynamiki bilansu oraz rachunku zysków i strat, a także analiza wskaźnikowa. Empiryczna część pracy to ocena kondycji finansowej przedsiębiorstwa WARS S. A. w latach 2008 – 2011. Przeprowadzono analizę struktury i dynamiki oraz analizę wskaźnikową. W podsumowaniu pracy zawarto wnioski z analizy. Analiza została oparta na rzeczywistych danych uzyskanych z przedsiębiorstwa.
