Nova verba Latina-sive de vocibus, quibus res recentiores, priscis Romanis ignotae, in Latinitate viva reddantur.

Praca poświęcona jest problematyce badań nad łaciną żywą oraz zagadnieniu tworzenia i funkcjonowania neologizmów w jej zakresie. W pierwszej części omawiane są najważniejsze kwestie związane z historią tworzenia się ruchu żywej łaciny (przegląd zagadnień od początku XIX wieku aż po czasy współczesne). W tym rozdziale podjęliśmy również próbę zredagowania definicji pojęcia ‘żywa łacina’. W kolejnej części pracy omawiana jest specyfika badań nad fenomenem żywej łaciny wraz ze wstępem do źródeł neologizmów do niniejszej pracy. W rozdziale trzecim omawiane są wybrane słowniki zawierające słownictwo współczesne. Ostatnia część pracy poświęcona jest specyfikacji neologizmów funkcjonujących w żywej łacinie.

This disseration handles the topics of living latin, and the creation and use of neologisms within this movement. The first part addressess the questions concerning the history of the living latin movement (from the begginings of the XIX century to modern times). This chapter also aims to form the definition of "living latin". The next part addresses the specifics of living latin research, including the sources of the neologisms found in this paper. The third part addressess some of the dictionaries which include modern latin lexicology. The final part is dedicated to the exact description of the neologisms used in living latin.

Cum vero neologismorum vivae Latinitatis quaestionem nemo linguistico modo perscrutaverit, desideratissimum videtur, ut haec spississima materies quodammodo adumbretur. Id quidem animadvertentes Latinitatis vivae thema omnino suscipiendum putavimus, quam ob rem prima dissertationis parte huius notionis historiam adumbrare studuimus, nec non Latinitatis vivae definitionem adumbrandam curavimus. Deinde breviter perscrutantes, quid antiqui Romani de novorum vocabulorum condendorum ratione putaverint, id explicavimus, quantum eorum opiniones in neologismis Latinis hodie excudendis valerent. Cetera parte dissertationis descriptiones librorum praebuimus, quibus novae Latinitatis voces continentur nec non neologismorum vivae Latinitatis specificationem linguisticam proponere curavimus.
