Animals remains in the population burials of Wielbark Culture.

Purpose of this thesis is to determine the characteristics of animal species which have been buried in tombs and attempt to determine changes that occur during the period of the Wielbark Culture. This thesis also contains research that aim to determine the presence or absence of certain rules of equipment the age groups or sexes in animal remains and their local diversirt. This thesis is based mainly on recently published large cemeteries in Cecelach, Grzybnicy, Krupicach, Leśno, st. 2, Lubowidzu, Nadkolu, st. 1, and smaller research work on the positions in Grębocin, Niedanowie, Szczytnie, st. 3.

Praca ma na celu określenie charakterystyki gatunkowej zwierząt składanych w grobach, a także podjęcie studiów nad zmianami następującymi w ciągu trwania kultury wielbarskiej. Ponadto pogłębiono studia mające na celu określenie istnienia lub jego braku, pewnych reguł wyposażania danych grup wiekowych lub płci w szczątki zwierzęce, a także ich zróżnicowania lokalnego. Praca opiera się głównie na ostatnio publikowanych dużych cmentarzyskach w Cecelach, Grzybnicy, Krupicach, Leśnie, st. 2, Lubowidzu, Nadkolu, st. 1, a także z pomniejszych prac dotyczących stanowisk w Grębocinie, Niedanowie oraz Szczytnie, st. 3.
