Selected opportunities and risks of tourism development in the catchment area of the Ropa river (Western Carpathians).

Głównym celem niniejszej pracy było określenie barier i możliwości rozwoju turystyki na terenie zlewni rzeki Ropy. Najważniejszym narzędziem badawczym wykorzystanym w opracowaniu jest ankieta. Badania ankietowe przeprowadzone zostały na grupie gestorów bazy noclegowej. Na podstawie uzyskanych danych, określone zostały mocne i słabe strony regionu. Przeprowadzona została również inwentaryzacja atrakcji turystycznych. Pracę zdobią liczne ryciny oraz fotografie.

The main objective of this study was to identify barriers and opportunities for development of tourism in the catchment area of the Ropa river. The most important research tool used in the study is a survey. Surveys were conducted on a group of administrators of accommodation facilities. Based on the data obtained, are set out strengths and weaknesses of the region. The inventory was conducted tourist attractions. The work is decorated with many engravings and photographs.
