Psychological problems of women, who being treated because of the infertility

The subject of the thesis is analysis of literature about psychological problems of women, who being treated because of infertility. Presenting psychological problems of infertile women and of their hampered social contacts was a main purpose. The infertility is more and more universal and it is being defined as the impossibility of the conception of the child after the year of regular sexual intercourse without taking contraceptives. At the thesis was discussed a medical aspect of the infertility for example: kinds, diagnostics and the treatment, as well as the psychological aspect, which contain characteristic of the relation and internal experiences of infertile women. Special attention was paid by importance of problem as well as need of the psychological help to infertile women. The thesis was written on the base of the analysis of literature in particular scientific research concerning psychological problems of infertile women. Concluding more and more women could hear the diagnosis of the infertility which very much negatively influences to social relations, that the woman was secluding herself; for perceiving the own person - the woman has lowered self-esteem. A type of the reaction of women to the diagnosis of the infertility was determined and their approach towards different procedures. They also paid attention to the need of the psychological help.

Przedmiotem pracy jest analiza literatury na temat psychologicznych problemów kobiet leczących się z powodu niepłodności. Głównym celem było przedstawienie problemów psychologicznych kobiet niepłodnych oraz ich utrudnionych kontaktów społecznych. Niepłodność jest coraz bardziej powszechna i definiuje się ją jako niemożność poczęcia dziecka po roku regularnego współżycia bez używania środków antykoncepcyjnych. W pracy omówiono medyczny aspekt niepłodności m.in. rodzaje, diagnostykę i leczenie, a także aspekt psychologiczny, w którym zawarto charakterystykę relacji z otoczeniem oraz wewnętrzne przeżycia kobiet niepłodnych. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na wagę problemu a także potrzebę pomocy psychologicznej kobietom niepłodnym. Praca napisana została na podstawie analizy, w szczególności badań dotyczących psychologicznych problemów kobiet niepłodnych. Wnioskując coraz więcej kobiet słyszy diagnozę niepłodności, która bardzo negatywnie wpływa na relacje z otoczeniem oraz na postrzeganie własnej osoby – kobieta ma obniżone poczucie własnej wartości. Określono typ reakcji kobiet na diagnozę niepłodności oraz ich podejście do różnych metod leczenia. Zwrócono również uwagę na potrzebę pomocy psychologicznej.
