Częstość występowania agresji ze strony pacjentów i jej formy w pracy pielęgniarki psychiatrycznej.

Abstract: The paper consists of two parts: theoretical and empirical. The theoretical provides a general description of the phenomenon of aggression (definitions, theories used to explain the causes of aggressive behavior, the types of aggression). The empirical part was dedicated to the presentation of the results of research carried out in a closed psychiatric ward. The aim of the study was to identify the prevalence, causes, and heralds the occurrence of aggressive behavior, as well as their forms. The paper presents the characteristics of psychiatric nurses who are exposed to the risk of aggressive behavior on the part of patients.

Streszczenie: Praca składa się z dwóch części: teoretycznej i empirycznej. Cześć teoretyczna zawiera ogólny opis zjawiska agresji (definicje, teorie służące do wyjaśnienia przyczyn zachowań agresywnych, rodzaje agresji). Część empiryczna poświęcona została przedstawieniu wyników badań przeprowadzonych w zamkniętym oddziale psychiatrycznym. Celem badań było rozpoznanie rozpowszechnienia, przyczyn oraz zwiastunów występowania zachowań agresywnych, a także ich form. Praca przedstawia również charakterystykę pracy pielęgniarek psychiatrycznych, które narażone są na ryzyko zachowań agresywnych ze strony pacjentów.
