The trend of changes in polish labour law during the political system transformation

The transformation of Polish political system after the year 1989 introduced serious changes to the economy, social life and the system of law. The goal of this master's thesis was to picture the transformations in the polish labour law and describe their trend inbetween the year 1974 and 1996. This period is set between the introduction of Ustawa Kodeks pracy to the polish law system and its vast amendment of the middle-nineties.The following elaboration compares the law system brought to life by a socialistic lawmaker which ment to serve in a country of planned econemy, and the changes brought to it by the first goverments of III Rzeczypospolita, updating it to the requirements of market economy. The study focuses on the most important changes and new solutions to the Labor codex in the mentioned period.

Przemiana ustrojowa mająca miejsce w Polsce po 1989 roku wprowadziła daleko idące zmiany w gospodarce, życiu społecznym oraz systemie prawa. Celem pracy było zobrazowanie przemian, które zaszły w polskim prawie pracy i opisanie ich kierunków w okresie od 1974 roku do 1996 roku. Ramy czasowe określa wprowadzenie w życie Ustawy Kodeks pracy, oraz jej znacząca nowelizacja po transformacji ustrojowej.W pracy zestawiony zostaje zbiór praw stworzonych przez ustawodawcę socjalistycznego, funkcjonujący w państwie o gospodarce centralnie sterowanej, oraz zmiany wprowadzone przez pierwsze rządy III Rzeczypospolitej, przenoszące kodeks na grunt gospodarki rynkowej. W opracowaniu poruszone zostają najważniejsze zmiany i nowe rozwiązania, które pojawiły się w Kodeksie pracy we wspominanym okresie.
