Utwory poetyckie w przekładach literatury dziecięcej i fantasy na języki klasyczne.

Celem pracy jest zaprezentowanie przekładów wierszy i piosenek w tłumaczeniach literatury dziecięcej i fantasy na łacinę i grekę. Pierwszy rozdział jest ogólną charakterystyką tłumaczeń literatury współczesnej na łacinę i grekę. Drugi opisuje funkcję pieśni w powieściach fantasy oraz charakterystykę poezji dziecięcej. Rozdział trzeci opisuje problemy, na jakie napotykają się tłumacze poezji. Czwarty rozdział jest analizą przekładów wierszy i piosenek z "Hobbita" J. R. R. Tolkiena. Rozdział piąty jest porównaniem tłumaczeń utworów poetyckich z łacińskiego i starogreckiego przekładu "Harry'ego Pottera" J. K. Rowling. Rozdział szósty jest krótka analizą piosenek i wierszy w łacińskim przekładzie "Kubusia Puchatka" A. A. Milne'a. Do pracy załączony został aneks z tłumaczeniami utworów poetyckich J. R. R. Toljkiena i George'a R. R. R. Martina autora pracy wraz z krótkim komentarzem.

Aim of this study is to present poems and songs in the translations of children's literature and fantasy into Latin and Old Greek. The first chapter is a general characteristic of translations of modern literature into Latin and Old Greek. Second chapter discusses the function of songs in the fantasy novels and characteristic of children's poetry. Chapter third deals with problems of translators of poetry. Fourth chapter is an analysis of translations of poems and song in the J. R. R. Tolkien’s “Hobbit”. Chapter fifth is a comparison of translations of poems and songs in Old Greek and Latin translation of J. K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter”. Chapter sixth is a short analysis of the translations of the songs and poems in A. A. Milne’s “Winnie the Pooh”. In work appendix was included with author’s translations into Latin of J. R. R. Tolkien’s and George R. R. Martin’s poems with a brief commentary.
