Agape and Eros - presence the theme of love in the poetry of Zbigniew Herbert.

Praca magisterska traktuje o temacie miłości w poezji Zbigniewa Herberta. Pierwszy rozdział zawiera informacje o sposobie obrazowania miłości matczynej oraz miłości do matki jako formy zbliżonej do chrześcijańskiej koncepcji Agape. W rozdziale drugim zawarte zostały informacje o koncepcji miłości rozumianej jako Eros i o miłości w poezji erotycznej Herberta. Na przestrzeni dwóch pierwszy rozdziałów stawiam tezę, że miłość matczyna jest w poezji polskiego poety archetypem każdej późniejszej formy miłości. Trzeci rozdział to refleksja nad tekstami, które świadczą o tym, że Herbert był poetą rozmiłowanym w świecie, w sztuce, w kulturze i tradycji. Ostatni rozdział pozwala także zauważyć, że miłość w poezji Herberta jest raczej rodzajem postawy wobec świata, rodzajem sztuki i wyboru, nie uczuciowym, emocjonalnym porywem.

This is the text on the theme of love in the poetry of Zbigniew Herbert. The first chapter provides information about mother's love and the love for mother as a form similar to the Christian concept of Agape. The second chapter contains information about the concept of love understood as Eros and about theme of love in erotic poetry Herbert. Over the first two chapters advance the thesis that maternal love is the archetype of any subsequent forms of love in the poetry polish artist. The third chapter is a reflection on texts which testify to the fact that Herbert was a poet in love with the world, in art, in culture and tradition. In the last chapter can also be noted that the love in his poetry is rather a kind of attitude towards the world, a kind of art and choice, not emotional outburst.
