Infrastructure for participation and development of professional snowboarding in Poland

Przedmiotem niniejszej pracy jest charakterystyka snowboardu jako dyscypliny olimpijskiej coraz bardziej popularnej w naszym kraju. Celem pracy próba scharakteryzowania infrastruktury, która ma zasadniczy wpływ na rozwój snowboardu w Polsce. Autor będzie chciał pokazać na jakim poziomie można uprawiać tą dyscyplinę sportu w różnych ośrodkach narciarsko-snowboardowych. W pracy oceniono poziom infrastruktury przydatnej do uprawiania snowboardu.Praca została podzielona na trzy części. W pierwszej z nich została nakreślona historia snowboardu oraz przedstawiono podział na dyscypliny. Druga część to techniczne uwarunkowania dotyczące każdej z dyscyplin oraz infrastruktura jaka powinna być dostępna dla każdej z nich. Ostatnia część to opis wyników z zebranych badań wraz z komentarzem.

The purpose of this paper is to highlight the essential role of infrastructure for the development of snowboarding as both an Olympic sport and recreation activity.The author will identify and describe the resorts that provide the facilities for participation in this activity.The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part describes snowboard history and its disciplines. Secondly describes technical aspects of each of the disciplines and their required infrastructure. The last part is the description of the results of the collected studies and comments
