Organizacja turnieju finałowego EURO 2012 w Polsce

The thesis Organization of EURO 2012 final tournament in Poland provides a description of the process for the preparations and organization of the European Championships which were held in 2012 in Poland. The work is divided into five chapters of which the first presents the history of the European Championships; the second is about the EURO 2012 host selection process and the requirements be met by the candidates; the third presents the preparations for the European Championships in the following aspects: preparation of legislation, road infrastructure and sports, security in host cities and stadiums, and border traffic procedures; the fourth is a summary of the course of the final tournament, the impact of the organization on the Polish economy and the perception Poland and the host cities in the world. The fifth chapter is an analysis of data collected during the surveys conducted. These data were the basis for the assessment of EURO 2012 in Poland. On this basis, it can be concluded that organization of the European Championships in Poland was a success, the event was supported by citizens, ant it attracted a lot of attention. Top rated have been aspects such as the construction of the stadiums and security in the host cities and stadiums; on the other hand, the lowest rated was the execution of investments in road infrastructure.

Praca magisterska Organizacja turnieju finałowego EURO 2012 w Polsce ma na celu przedstawienie procesu przygotowań i organizacji Mistrzostw Europy, które odbyły się w 2012 roku w Polsce. Praca została podzielona na pięć rozdziałów, z czego w pierwszym przedstawiono historię Mistrzostw Europy; w drugim proces wyboru gospodarza EURO 2012 i wymagania stawiane kandydatom; w trzecim przygotowania do Mistrzostw Europy w następujących aspektach: przygotowanie legislacyjne, infrastruktura drogowa i sportowa, zapewnienie bezpieczeństwa w miastach gospodarzach i na stadionach oraz procedury ruchu granicznego; w czwartym przedstawiono podsumowanie przebiegu turnieju finałowego, wpływ organizacji na gospodarkę i postrzeganie Polski na arenie międzynarodowej oraz na miasta-gospodarzy. W rozdziale piątym znajduje się analiza danych, zebranych podczas przeprowadzonych ankiet. Uzyskane dane były podstawą oceny przeprowadzenia EURO 2012 w Polsce. Na ich podstawie można stwierdzić, że organizowane w Polsce Mistrzostwa Europy okazały się sukcesem organizacyjnym, które były wspierane przez obywateli, a same rozgrywki cieszyły się dużym zainteresowaniem. Najwyżej ocenione zostały takie aspekty jak budowa stadionów oraz zapewnienie bezpieczeństwa w miastach-gospodarzach i na stadionach; z drugiej strony, najniżej oceniono prace prowadzone przy inwestycjach w infrastrukturę drogową.
