Literature, painting and architecture in regional education in Krosno

The purpose of this study was to present the crucial issues of regional education, defining its importance in the process of education and teaching, and to transfer these assumptions to the regional education in Krosno. The most important part of this study was methodical project entitled “Closer to art in Krosno”. It is a proposal for the realization of regional education in Krosno for polish language lessons in primary and secondary schools. The program is based on material of painting, literature and architecture. The purpose of this project is to present the local art heritage and shaping attitude opened to co-create culture in the vicinity.

Zadaniem niniejszej pracy jest przybliżenie zasadniczych kwestii edukacji regionalnej, nakreślenie jej znaczenia w procesie wychowania i nauczania oraz przeniesienie tych założeń na edukację regionalną w Krośnie. Najistotniejszą częścią pracy jest autorski projekt metodyczny Bliżej sztuki krośnieńskiej. Stanowi on propozycję realizacji edukacji regionalnej w Krośnie na lekcjach języka polskiego w szkole podstawowej i gimnazjum. Program powstał w oparciu o obszernie zgromadzony materiał z malarstwa, literatury i architektury. Projekt krośnieńskiej edukacji regionalnej ma na celu przybliżenie dorobku sztuki lokalnej oraz kształtowanie postaw otwartych na współtworzenie kultury w najbliżej okolicy.
