The study of the physico-chemical properties of emulsion of type o/w and w/o contained in offer of “Oscar” for their impact on the environment

This thesis concerns the analysis of physico-chemical properties and environmental impact of two emulsions contained in offer of “Oscar”. One of them named Australian Gold is w/o emulsion and the other – Chic Angel is o/w emulsion. Firstly was measured temperature evolution of IR spectra of samples. In the next step the stability of products exposed to UV radiation and being aged were investigated. The environmental impact were defined basing on the safety data sheet of Australian Gold product and safety assessment available on the website of Chic Angel producer.

Niniejsza praca dotyczy analizy badań właściwości fizyko-chemicznych oraz wpływu na środowisko naturalne dwóch emulsji znajdujących się w ofercie firmy handlowo-usługowej „Oscar”. Jedna z emulsji o składzie w/o to Australian Gold, druga zaś Chic Angel – o/w. W pierwszej kolejności wykonano pomiar temperaturowy widm spektroskopowych próbek w zakresie środkowej podczerwieni. Kolejnym krokiem, było zbadanie trwałości próbek poddanych wcześniej naświetlaniu promieniami UV i procesowi starzenia próbki. Wpływ na środowisko naturalne określono na podstawie karty charakterystyk – produkt Australian Gold i w oparciu o ocenę bezpieczeństwa produktu – emulsja Chic Angel.
