State aid for entrepreneurs

Article 107 of The Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union constitute prohibition of granting state aid but from this prohibition legislator provide some exceptions. The main goal of this paper is to introduce the concept of the state aid and show differences between different kinds of aid. In addition this paper brings closer notification process and shows effects of incorrect notification or its absence.

Artykuł 107 Traktatu o Funkcjonowaniu Unii Europejskiej stanowi o zakazie przyznawania pomocy publicznej, jednakże od tego zakazu prawodawca przewiduje wyjątki. Praca ma na celu przybliżenie pojęcia pomocy publicznej i ukazanie różnic pomiędzy jej rodzajami. Dodatkowo praca ma pokazać na czym polega proces notyfikacji pomocy i jakie są skutki jej błędnego dokonania, bądź też jej braku.
