Praca ta ma na celu ukazanie odmiennego sposobu postrzegania twórczości Artura Adamowa. Prezentuje ona odmienny wizerunek dramaturga, który znany jest głównie jako jeden z przedstawicieli teatru absurdu. Praca ujawnia, iż cała twórczość artystyczna Artura Adamowa jest ściśle powiązana z kwestią polityczną.Jako punkt wyjścia służy odniesienie do życia i etapów twórczości autora. Ukazują one jak wielkie oddziaływanie na jego dramatopisarstwo miały bieżące wydarzenia rozgrywające się na arenie politycznej. Pierwsza część pracy prezentuje wpływ, jaki wywarł na twórczości dramatycznej Artura Adamowa oniryzm Augusta Strindberga, teatr historyczny Bertolda Brechta oraz teatr społecznie zaangażowany Antona Czechowa.Druga część jest analizą dwóch sztuk Artura Adamowa „La Parodie” i „Paolo Paoli”. Analiza ta wykazuje, iż twórczość dramaturga nie odnotowała żadnej drastycznej zmiany, a jego teatr od samego początku związany był z kwestią polityczną. Adamow, w każdej z tych wymienionych sztuk ukazał grupę osób, której perypetie są zależne od rozwoju wydarzeń społecznych. Cała twórczość artystyczna Artura Adamowa skupia się na ukazaniu wpływu polityki na życie zwyczajnych ludzi. Jego specyfika polega na łączeniu dwóch aspektów życia ludzkiego, życia społecznego z osobistym. Postacie ukazane w jego sztukach nie interesują się polityką, nie są świadome zmian ani ich wpływu na życie osobiste, a mimo to biorą w nim udział. Specyfika teatru Artura Adamowa polega na łączeniu aspektu politycznego z metafizycznym, co pozwala mu ukazać prawdziwe oblicze człowieka.

Cette étude a pour but de démontrer que toute la conception artistique d’Arthur Adamov est liée à la question de la politique. En partant de l’approche de ses textes biographiques et théoriques, elle montre à quel point sa vie était influencée par les événements politiques du pays. Une brève présentation des étapes de sa création montre l’image figée de son écriture. La deuxième partie de cette étude porte sur l’analyse de ses deux œuvres pour enfin prouver que son théâtre ne marque pas de rupture entre La Parodie et Paolo Paoli. Dans l’une et dans l’autre, l’auteur a présenté l’histoire d’un groupe de gens inscrite dans l’évolution de la société. Tout théâtre adamovien se concentre sur la façon de la réception de la force politique et sur son influence sur des gens ordinaires. Sa spécificité consiste en établissement du lien entre deux aspects de la vie humaine : publique et privée. La politique est dans ses pièces éloignée du personnage qui est inconscient de son impact sur sa vie personnelle. A travers son théâtre, Adamov nous montre le monde intérieur de ses protagonistes lié au monde de l’extérieur et souligne à quel point ces personnes sont participants de cette vie publique. La spécificité de son théâtre consiste en la liaison de l’aspect politique et métaphysique afin de découvrir l’homme moderne.

This dissertation aims to show a different way of perceiving Arthur Adamov’s art. It shows a different image of a playwright, who is mainly known as one of the representatives of the theatre of the absurd. This dissertation reveals that the entire Arthur Adamov’s artistic creation is closely linked to the political issue. The starting point is a reference to the stages of life and work of the author. It shows how huge is the influence of a political event on his life. The first part of the paper presents the impact that has had on the dramatic works of Arthur Adamov onirism August Strindberg's historical theatre Bertolt Brecht and socially engaged theatre of Anton Chekhov.The second part is an analysis of two pieces of Arthur Adamov "La Parodies" and "Paolo Paoli." This analysis shows that the work of the playwright did not experience any drastic change, and the theatre from the beginning was associated with a political issue. Adamov in each of these pieces showed a group of people whose trials and tribulations are dependent on developments in society. All artistic work of Arthur Adamov focuses on showing the impact of policies on the lives of ordinary people. His theatre combines two aspects of human life, the social one with the personal one. The characters depicted in his plays are not interested in politics, they are not aware of the changes or their impact on personal life, yet they are taking part in it.The specificity of the Arthur Adamov’s theatre is to combine the political aspect of the metaphysical, which allows him to show the true face of human being.
