Tematem mojej pracy magisterskiej jest charakterystyka dziecka autystycznego w systemie edukacji i wsparcia. Autyzm jest schorzeniem neurorozwojowym, które zaliczane jest do najcięższych chorób dziecięcych, obejmujących upośledzenie psychiczne i fizyczne. Proces edukacji i socjalizacji dzieci autystycznych jest bardzo trudny, lecz nie jest niemożliwy. Obecnie dzieci dotknięte autyzmem mogą uczęszczać na zajęcia w szkołach publicznych dzięki programowi edukacji integracyjnej. Praca obejmuje zagadnienia z dziedziny autyzmu, edukacji specjalnej, integracji dziecka autystycznego oraz formach wsparcia socjalnego dla dzieci i ich rodzin. Skupiłam się również na szczegółowym planie zajęć dzieci autystycznych, który przewidziany jest dla klas specjalnych w Zespole Szkół w Chełmcu. W swojej pracy zawarłam także spis instytucji i organizacji, które zajmują się pomocą osobom dotkniętym autyzmem i ich rodzinom. Sporządziłam również listę miejsc w przestrzeni publicznej, które przystosowane są do przeprowadzania zajęć z dziećmi z klas specjalnych.

Autistic child in education and support systemThe subject of my thesis is the characteristic of an autistic child in education and support system. Autism is a neurodevelopmentar disorder which is included in the heaviest cases of child’s mental and physical retardation. Process of education and socialization of autistic child is very hard, but not impossible. Nowadays children with autism can attend to classes in public schools according to program of inclusive education. The thesis raises issues of autism, special education, integration of autistic child and forms of social support for children and their families. I also focused on detailed school activities which is provided for special classes based on program which caters for special children in Zespół Szkół w Chełmcu. In my work I mentioned about a lot of institutions and organizations that are taking care of retarded children and their families. I made a list of public spaces which are adapted to carry out the activities for special children.
