Selected issues of law and legal language on the material of the Criminal Code, documents and judicial decisions

The main goal of this work is to present the terms characteristic language of the law vs legal . The first chapter explains the differences between language of the law and legal. Described translation method, term like ‘false friends', formal and functional equivalence, Second section describing the role of formative events based on the examples of language of the law and legal. Discussed issues derivations, sockets formative, focusing terminology related words, homonyms, collocations, abbreviations and acronyms, borrowings. We have presented the concept of typical legal jargon. The second chapter is an analysis of word formation and semantics of individual terms of the Criminal Code. The second section was material to work documents: call indictment, the attitude of the property and the judgment.

Podstawowym celem pracy jest ukazanie terminów charakterystycznych dla języka prawnego i prawniczego. W pierwszym rozdziale wyjaśniono różnice między językiem prawnym a prawniczym. Opisane zostało zjawisko „nieprzekładalności” oraz metody translatorskie. Podrozdział drugi opisuję rolę zjawisk słowotwórczych na podstawie przykładów języka prawnego i prawniczego. Omówiono zagadnienia derywacje, gniazda słowotwórcze, skupienia terminologiczne, wyrazy pokrewne, homonimy, związki frazeologiczne, skróty i skrótowce, zapożyczenia. Przedstawiliśmy pojęcia charakterystyczne dla żargonu prawniczego. Rozdział drugi dotyczy analizy słowotwórczej i semantycznej poszczególnych określeń z kodeksu karnego. Następnie omówiliśmy poszczególne fragmenty pism urzędowych oraz orzeczeń. Ujawniliśmy terminologię prawniczą zawartą dokumentach tj. wezwanie na rozprawę sądową, postanowienie, akt oskarżenia, wyrok.
