Constitutional Courts in the U.S. and in Europe. The historical development and current status

This master's thesis is about constitutional protection of theconstitution in USA and chosen european countries, also in Poland. Itdescribes functioning systems in France, Austria and Germany. It includesalso the historical informations about evaluation of this systems, whathelp to understand the differences between this systems in the past andcurrently. Particulars chapters describes the most important informationsabout the constitutional protection aforementioned countries as structure,judicary and principles. I have shortly mentioned the system of GreatBritain and Scandinavian Countries as one of the most characteristic andgeting to know.

Niniejsza praca magisterska poświęcona jest sądowej ochroniepostanowień ustawy zasadniczej w USA i wybranych krajach Europy, równieżw Polsce. Opis funkcjonujących systemów sądowej ochrony konstytucji wUSA, Francji, Austrii, Niemczech oraz w Polsce poprzedzony został rysemhistorycznym. Pozwala to na zaobserwowanie zmian jakie zaszły w tychsystemach prawnych nim osiągnęły one swój obecny kształt. Opróczwymienionych państw, w pracy krótko wspomniałam o najbardziejcharakterystycznych systemach sądowej ochrony konstytucji. Przywołanyzostał m.in system Wielkiej Brytanii ze względu na brak spisanejkonstytucji oraz kraje skandynawskie.
