Anthropology of the notion of an artist - contemporary self-image of a creator.

Contemporary image and self-image of an artist combines the elements of legend, historical projection, stereotype fixed in (pop)culture, however the changes which took place on the break of XX and XXI centuries in the art world are also important. I conducted interviews with students of visual art and graduates of art classes. In the thesis I focus on the notion of an artist rather then the notion of the art.

Współczesny wizerunek i autowizerunek artysty łączy w sobie elementy legendy, wizji utrwalonej historycznie, stereotypu utartego w (pop)kulturze – a jednak odciska na nim piętno również to, jakie zmiany dokonały się na przełomie XX i XXI wieku w świecie sztuki.Grupą osób, z którą przeprowadziłam wywiady w ramach badań do niniejszej pracy, byli studenci kierunków artystycznych i absolwenci klas plastycznych.W pracy skupiam się na pojęciu artysty, nie zaś na pojęciu sztuki.
