Hormony płciowe i ich rola w organizmie samca.

Celem poniższej pracy jest przedstawienie hormonów płciowych samca i ich funkcji. W pracy opisano budowę chemiczną hormonów ,ich klasyfikacje oraz proces ich biosyntezy (steroidogeneze). W pracy została pokazana również interakcja hormon-komórka i odpowiednie efekty temu towarzyszące. Opisane zostają również komórki uczestniczące w hormonalnej regulacji funkcji fizjologicznych gonady (komórki Leydiga oraz Sertoliego) oraz regulacja nadrzędna poprzez podwzgórze i przysadkę mózgową. Praca pokazuje wpływ androgenów oraz estrogenów na funkcjonowanie organizmu męskiego oraz skutki ich niedoboru/nadmiaru u człowieka.

The aim of this dissertation is to present male sexual hormones and their functions. Chemical structure of hormones plus their classification and the process of their biosynthesis (steroidogenesis) are the main themes of the paper. Hormone-cell interaction with its corresponding effects shall also be illustrated in the present thesis. Additionally, it describes cells involved in the hormonal regulation of gonad's physiological functions (cells of Leydig and Sertoli), as well as parental regulation by hypothalamus and pituitary gland. Finally, the work shows the influence of androgens and estrogens on the function of male organism and the effects of their deficiency/excess in humans.
