Przemiany społeczno-polityczne w Birmie w latach 1962-2013.

The thesis aims at depicting the societal and political changes that Burma went through between 1962 and 2013 and showing their influence on the current situation in this country. It consists of description of struggle for independence in Burma (between 1945 and 1947),of the years of democracy (between 1948 and 1962), of the General Ne Win's regime (between 1962 and 1988) and of Aung San Suu Kyi's struggle for democracy against the junta (between 1988 and 2013).

Celem pracy jest ukazanie przemian społeczno-politycznych, które zaszły w Birmie pomiędzy rokiem 1962 a 2013 oraz przedstawienie ich wpływu na obecną sytuację w tym kraju. Praca zawiera opis dążenia do niepodległości Birmy w latach 1945-1947, czasów demokracji (lata 1948-1962), rządów generała Ne Wina (lata 1962-1988) oraz działalności Aung San Suu Kyi na rzecz demokracji na tle rządów wojskowego reżimu (lata 1988-2013).
