Zagrożenie uzależnieniami w środowisku dorastającej młodzieży jest tematem, który bardzo często podejmowany jest w teorii poznawczej przez wielu badaczy. Związane jest to z natężeniem oddziaływania zagrożeń w ostatnich latach na młodych ludzi, które powodują uzależnienia. Celem pracy jest ukazanie stanu zagrożeń uzależnieniami behawioralnymi i chemicznymi w środowisku dorastającej młodzieży. Ukazanie zagrożeń wzbogacono o przedstawienie poziomu poczucia alienacji młodzieży gimnazjalnej. Uzyskane wyniki pozwoliły na wskazanie środków zaradczych przeciwko uzależnieniom oraz zwiększenie wiedzy na temat uzależnień wśród młodych ludzi. Wyniki badania pozwoliły na wskazanie, iż okres młodości jest okresem szczególnym dla młodych ludzi.
