Niniejsza praca magisterska poświęcona jest problematyce bezrobocia oraz determinantom pracy na własny rachunek. Celem pracy było dokonanie identyfikacji czynników, które mają wpływ na samozatrudnienie. Do badań wybrano metodę jakościową, opartą na kwestionariuszu elektronicznym. Największe szanse na uzyskanie dofinansowania na własną firmę mają kobiety w wieku średnim, posiadające wykształcenie wyższe. Kobiety będące w związkach formalnych, posiadające własne rodziny odczuwają silniejszą motywację do założenia własnego biznesu. W głównej mierze spowodowane tj. posiadaniem potomstwa, chęcią łączenia obowiązków zawodowych z macierzyństwem. Istotnym czynnikiem wpływającym na sukces biznesu są także aspiracje życiowe. W głównej mierze łączą się one z czynnikami motywacyjnymi, polegające na zapewnieniu rodzinie odpowiedniego poziomu życia społecznego oraz warunków do prawidłowego rozwoju. Człowiek sukcesu wyróżnia się na rynku pracy zespołem cech przedsiębiorczości indywidualnej. do których zalicza się pozytywne wyobrażenie na temat własnej osoby, jest pewny swoich możliwości, dlatego też podejmuje ryzykowne decyzje. Skuteczny przedsiębiorca w przypadku sytuacji kryzysowych sam mobilizuje się do dalszego działania. Obserwuje rynek, potrafi dostrzec okazje oraz je wykorzystać. Samozatrudnienie to szansa dla osób bezrobotnych na powrót do aktywności zawodowej. Z kolei dla osób, które nie odczuwają satysfakcji z dotychczasowej pracy, własny biznes jest alternatywą do samorealizacji

This thesis is dedicated to the issues of unemployment and social determinants of self-employment. The aim of the study was to identify the factors that have an impact on self-employment. A qualitative method based on the electronic questionnaire was selected for testing . The best chance of getting the funding for his/her own company have middle-aged women with higher education. Women in relationships, having their own families experience a stronger motivation for starting their own business. This is mainly due to the factor that they have offspring and they desire to combine professional duties with motherhood. The important factors in the success of business are also life aspirations. They are mainly connected with motivating factors such as the need of ensuring the family of an appropriate level of social life and the right conditions for proper development. The successful man stands out in the labour market. He or she can be characterized as person with individual entrepreneurial features with the positive image of themselves, such a person is sure of their own abilities and therefore take risky decisions. Effective entrepreneur in the case of emergencies can bring him or herself to further action. He or she can notice the opportunity and take advantage of it just by the market observation. Self-employment is a chance for the unemployed to return to work. In contrast for those who do not feel satisfied with the current job their own business is an alternative to self-realization.
