Logistics’ significance in management of production and trading company

The purpose of this work is to discuss the question interrelated to the organising and performance of the logistics in business. The main objective of the research focuses on pointing out the assignments, actions and functions with accordance to the logistics' management system. The fundamental query that accompanies undertaken consideration regards to conduction of an activity: how thrives the purchising departament, production, distribution and waste management. The whole dissertation comprises four chapters. The first one refers to the theoretical aspects. Main points, functions and extent were explained equally to described data flow in enterprise and its significance in development and functions of the business. In the second chapter, were elaborated aspects of the scope of the logistics' management system in enterprise. Four chosen by the author ranges of operation were discussed there. They are based on the logistics' system: management, production, distribution and waste management logistics. The third aspect was dedicated to discuss the business profile, organising structure and sort of ready produced goods. The last, fourth chapter forms the part of methodology and research. Described wered abused methods and techniques, research organisation and profile of the examined group as well. In particular, analysed were the outcomes of the conducted investigation in the field of diagnosis among the employees of P.P.H. Patrol Group. Done research prove that the company takes advantage of the new techniques and technology in enterprise's management and works on coverage of the integral logistics' system consolidating all the areas in the company. Employees have a positive attitude towards the aspect of management and functioning of the enterprise. Work is rewarding for them and they define the prosperity of the logistics' processes to be at quite high level.

Celem przedstawianej pracy jest omówienie problematyki związanej z organizacją i funkcjonowaniem logistyki w przedsiębiorstwie. Założeniem badawczym jest wskazanie zadań, czynności i funkcji odnoszących się do systemu zarządzania logistycznego. Podstawowym pytaniem, jakie towarzyszy podjętym rozważaniom odnosi się do prowadzenia działalności: jak prosperuje dział zaopatrzenia, produkcji, dystrybucji i gospodarowania odpadami. Cała praca składa się z czterech rozdziałów. W pierwszym rozdziale znajdują się kwestie czysto teoretyczne. Wyjaśniono główne pojęcia, funkcje, zakres a także opisano jak wygląda przepływ informacji w przedsiębiorstwie i jakie ona ma znaczenie w rozwoju i funkcjonowaniu firmy. W drugim rozdziale opracowano materiały z zakresu systemu zarządzania logistycznego w przedsiębiorstwie. Tutaj omówiono cztery wybrane przez autora pracy obszary działalności, w których zastosowany jest system logistycznych, tj. logistyka zaopatrzenia, logistyka produkcji, logistyka dystrybucji, logistyka gospodarowania odpadami. Trzeci rozdział został poświęcony omówieniu charakterystyki firmy, struktury organizacyjnej oraz rodzajów produkowanych towarów gotowych. Czwarty, ostatni rozdział stanowi część metodologiczno – badawczą. Opisano zastosowane metody i techniki, organizację badań, jak również charakterystykę badanej grupy. W szczególności analizie poddane zostały uzyskane wyniki przeprowadzonego badania diagnostycznego wśród pracowników firmy P.P.H. Patrol Group. Przeprowadzone badania dowodzą, iż firma wykorzystuje nowe techniki i technologie w zarządzaniu przedsiębiorstwem, a także opracowuje integralny system logistyczny, łączący wszystkie obszary w firmie. Pracownicy pozytywnie odnoszą się do kwestii zarządzania i funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstwa, są zadowoleni z pracy, określając prosperowanie procesów logistycznych na wysokim poziomie.
