The Human Rights Defender as a body for the protection of rights and freedom of individual in the Republic of Poland.

The thesis concerns the Human Rights Defender. I presented in the evolution of this institution. The first chapter presents the origins and essence of the institution. The second chapter analyzes the scope and operation of the Human Rights Defender. The third chapter introduces the functioning of the ombudsman. The fourth shows the internal structure of the organization.

Praca dotyczy Rzecznika Praw Obywatelskich. Zaprezentowałam w niej kształtowanie się tej instytucji. Pierwszy rozdział został poświęcony genezie i istocie instytucji. Drugi analizuje zakres i zasady działania Rzecznika Praw Obywatelskich. Trzeci rozdział przybliża funkcjonowanie Rzecznika. Czwarty zaś ukazuje wewnętrzną strukturę organizacyjną.
