Cyberterrorism as contemporary threat.

Celem niniejszej pracy jest przedstawienie kwestii problemu cyberterroryzmu oraz cyberprzestępczości i zwrócenie uwagi na niebezpieczeństwa jakie wiążą się ze wspomnianymi zjawiskami. Praca zawiera część wyjaśniającą zagadnienia związane z tematem pracy oraz teoretyczną analizę spraw dotyczących cyberprzestrzeni oraz wykroczeń w niej popełnianych. W kolejnym fragmencie pracy przedstawiona została charakterystyka cyberterroryzmu oraz rozwinięte zostały kwestie dotyczące wykorzystania Internetu jako broni. W trzecim rozdziale przedstawione są polityki oraz ustawodawstwa i projekty zarządzone przez poszczególne kraje oraz organizacje międzynarodowe, mające na celu zapobieganie cyberprzestępczości. Ostatnia część pracy związana jest z opisem poszczególnych przypadków przestępstw w cyberprzestrzeni oraz wybranych grup przestępczych działających w sieci.

The purpose of this study is to describe the issue of cyber-terrorism and cyber-crime and to draw attention to the dangers that are associated with these phenomena. The first part of the paper contains explanation of issues related to the main topic of the study and theoretical analysis of cyberspace and crimes committed therein. In the next part of the work, there is a presentation and characteristics of cyber-terrorism as a new kind of terrorism in the world and aspect of the Internet as a global weapon. In the third section there are policies and legislations and projects directed by the individual countries and international organizations, both aimed to prevent cybercrimes. The last part of the study contains description of individual cases of crimes committed in the cyberspace and specification of selected criminal groups operating in the network.
