Tematem niniejszej pracy jest historia i działalność Bractwa Kapłańskiego św. Piotra w Polsce . Obejmuje również początki ruchu tradycjonalistycznego w Polsce i na świecie. Praca została podzielona na trzy części. W pierwszej z nich autor przedstawia genezę ruchu tradycjonalistycznego w Kościele katolickim, oraz wydarzenia bezpośrednio poprzedzające założenie Bractwa. Druga część skupia się na procesie kształtowania się Bractwa Kapłańskiego św. Piotra oraz obecną jego działalność. W trzeciej części przytoczone zostają kontrowersje i krytyka, jakie współcześnie wywołuje.

The subject matter of the thesis is the history and activity of The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter in Poland. Furthermore, it encompasses the beginning of the movement in Poland and in the world as well.The thesis consists of three parts. In the first one, the author presents the genesis of the Traditionalist Catholic movement in Church and the events directly preceding the foundation of Saint Peter Priestly Fraternity. The second part concentrates on the fraternity’s formation process and its current activity. The third part refers to contemporary criticism and controversy which the subject fraternity generates.
