Image of a man Different in the mind of youth growing up. Diagnosis and conditions

Celem niniejszej pracy dyplomowej jest omówienie problematyki odmienności poprzez ukazanie spostrzegania osób innej narodowości i wyznania, uzależnionych, skazanych na karę pozbawienia wolności oraz z niepełnosprawnością w percepcji młodzieży dorastającej. Analizie poddana została literatura traktująca o zagadnieniu inności, a także uzyskane za pomocą kwestionariusza ankiety, wywiadu i narzędzi wystandaryzowanych rezultaty badań młodzieży licealnej pod względem ich poziomu tolerancji i akceptacji. Na ich podstawie sformułowane zostały wnioski końcowe oraz postulaty dla praktyki pedagogicznej.

The aim of this paper is to discuss the topic of being different and how people of different origin or nationality, faith, those with an addiction, disability or prison sentence are perceived by the youth. The author analyses a variety of publications dealing with the subject of being different as well as the results of a survey conducted among high-school students. The feedback received from the participants of the survey allowed for a clearer understanding of the levels of tolerance and acceptance among the teenagers, too. In consequence, conclusions concerning effective educational practices could be formulated.
