Formation of relationships between the university and students

System szkolnictwa wyższego XXI wieku stanowi podstawę gospodarki, która swoje podstawy opiera na wiedzy. Uczelnia wyższa jest tym miejscem, gdzie nadrzędny zasób w postaci wiedzy jest poddawany nieustannej eksploatacji. Placówki szkolnictwa wyższego realizują swoje zadania poprzez poszerzanie oraz rozpowszechnianie wiedzy, prowadzenie działalności edukacyjnej oraz badawczej. Aktywność ta skierowana jest dla dobra ogółu, dzięki czemu wpływa na wzrost jakości życia obywateli. Wobec tego celem niniejszej pracy było przedstawienie relacji na płaszczyźnie uczelnia wyższa – student oraz kształtujących ją czynników. Badanie przeprowadzone wśród studentów Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego scharakteryzowało występujące relacje, jak i zidentyfikowało czynniki, które mają wpływ na ocenę relacji między uczelnią wyższą a studentami.Zdobycie informacji o panujących relacjach między uczelnią wyższą a studentami było możliwe dzięki zastosowaniu metody sondażu diagnostycznego w formie kwestionariusza ankiety dla studentów Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. W trzech rozdziałach pracy zawarto najważniejsze informacje dotyczące relacji między uczelnią wyższą a studentami. Pierwszy rozdział omawiał system szkolnictwa wyższego w Polsce, znaczenie instytucji edukacyjnych oraz specyfikę ich funkcjonowania. Drugi rozdział dotyczył istoty oraz celów zarządzania relacjami, jak i przedstawiał modele ich kształtowania w placówkach szkolnictwa wyższego. Ostatnia część pracy opierała się na analizie badania zrealizowanego w środowisku studentów Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. Wnioski powstałe w wyniku sondażu diagnostycznego pozwoliły na wnikliwą analizę panujących relacji między uczelnią wyższą a studentami.

The higher education system of the 21st century is the basis for economy which its foundation bases on knowledge. University is the place where the overall resource in the form of knowledge is under constant operation. Higher education institutions are carrying out their tasks by extending and disseminating knowledge, conducting education and research. This activity is aimed at the public good so that it affects the growth of the quality of citizens' life. Therefore the aim of this study was to present the relationship at the level of university – student and factors which shape it. A research conducted among students at the Jagiellonian University characterized existing relations and identified factors that affect the assessment of the relationship between the university and students.Information on the existing relationships between the university and students was possible to collect by the method of diagnostic survey in the form of a questionnaire for students of the Jagiellonian University. Three chapters of this paper contain most important information about the relationship between the university and students. The first chapter discussed the higher education system in Poland, the importance of educational institutions and the specificity of their functioning. The second chapter concerned the nature and objectives of relations management and presented models of their formation in institutions of higher education. The last part of the paper was based on an analysis of the research conducted among students at the Jagiellonian University. Conclusions resulting from the diagnostic survey allowed for a thorough analysis of the existing relationships between the university and students
