Numerical methods for ordinary differential equations

W pracy przedstawione zostały podstawowe metody numerycznego rozwiązywania równań różniczkowych zwyczajnych oraz ich wybrane własności. Wśród nich znajduje się metoda Eulera wraz z modyfikacjami, a także metody Rungego-Kutty. W ramach pracy powyższe metody zostały zaimplementowane w języku Octave, a następnie przetestowane dla konkretnych zagadnieniach początkowych.

The aim of the paper is to present the basic numerical methods of the solving of the ordinary differential equations, and their selected properties. Among others, the publication describes the Euler method, including its modifications, and the Runge-Kutta methods. As part of the research work, the methods mentioned above were implemented in the Octave language, and then tested on specific initial value problems.
