The project of measures aimed for strenghtening the image of no. 144 Primary Schools library in Cracow.

Celem niniejszej pracy jest poprawienie aktualnie neutralnego wizerunku biblioteki przy Szkole Podstawowej nr 144 w Krakowie, który nie sprzyja czytelnictwu. Przeprowadzono krytyczną analizę piśmiennictwa, wywiad z bibliotekarzem oraz obserwację, dzięki której poznano i przedstawiono obecną sytuację biblioteki. Rezultatem pracy jest praktyczny projekt działań opracowany w oparciu m. in. o dobre praktyki. Zakładamy, że po jego realizacji poprawi się sytuacja biblioteki i zostanie wzmocniony jej wizerunek. Ponadto, jego wynikiem będzie wzrost czytelnictwa wśród uczniów szkoły.

The aim of this thesis is to improve the current neutral image of no. 144 Primary School's library in Cracow, which is not conducive readership. There was conducted a critical analysis of literature, interview with the librarian and the observation by which are known and presents the current situation of the library. The result of this work is a practical project of activities developed on the basis among others of professional practice. We assume that after its implementation will improve the situation of the library and will be reinforced its image. In addition, its result will increase the reading among students of this school.
