The role of Israel in US policy after 1991

Celem niniejszej pracy jest ukazanie roli Izraela w polityce Stanów Zjednoczonych po Zimnej wojnie, czyli po 1991 roku. Jest to bardzo ważny temat w zakresie relacji międzypaństwowych. Analiza tematu obejmuje okres lat 90 XX wieku oraz cały XXI wiek. Aby przedstawić jak najlepiej i jak najdokładniej temat, niniejsza praca obejmuję również historię Izraela oraz stosunki międzynarodowe państwa żydowskiego ze Stanami Zjednoczonymi jeszcze przed 1991 rokiem. Ważnym elementem jest ukazanie sytuacji w jakiej się znajduje Izrael, a także przedstawienie procesu pokojowego oraz jego istoty w budowaniu pozycji Stanów Zjednoczonych na Bliskim Wschodzie. Praca nad tematem obejmowała analizę źródeł jak akty prawne. Podstawą do przedstawienia problemu była analiza opracowań, które musiały być jak najbardziej obiektywne. Problematyka stosunków izraelsko – amerykańskich oraz rola w polityce USA są bardzo złożone, dlatego podejście do tematu obligowało do obiektywnej oceny.

The aim of this thesis is to show the role of Israel in the US policy after the Cold War, that is after 1991. This is a very important topic in the field of interstate relations. The analysis of the theme is covering a period of 90 years of the twentieth century and the whole twenty-first century. To present the subject the best and as accurately as possible, the above work also covers the history of Israel and the Jewish state in international relations with the United States even before 1991. An important element is to present the situation in which Israel is found and the presentation of the peace process and its essence in building the US position in the Middle East. The working on the subject included the analysis of sources such as legislation. The basis for the present problem was the analysis of studies that had to be the most objective. The issue of Israeli - American relations and the role in the US policy are very complex and therefore, it obliged the approach to the subject to an objective evaluation.
