"Polski system emerytalny na tle wybranych krajów Unii Europejskiej"

The pension system is an important issue because it has now turned out to be an integral part of the modern economy. The aim of this study is to analyze a selection of pensions systems within the European Union and then to attempt a comparison between them and the pension structure in Poland. The first part is a general description of the genesis and historical development of pensions in different parts of the world. The second section outlines Polish pension system, its evolution and current problems. Lastly, the final part focuses on three Western system, the German, British and Swedish, together with comparative analysis.

System emerytalny jest zagadnieniem, które w dzisiejszych czasach okazuje się niezwykle istotne dla współczesnej ekonomii. Celem pracy jest analiza wybranych systemów emerytalnych Unii Europejskiej, a następnie próba porównania ich z konstrukcją polską. Zakres badań podzielony jest na trzy wyszczególnione części. Pierwsza z nich przedstawia genezę i historyczny zarys emerytur na świecie. Kolejna pokazuje polski system emerytalny – jego ewolucje i obecne problemy. Ostatnia część skupia się na systemach zachodnich tj. niemieckim, brytyjskim i szwedzkim, a także analizie porównawczej.
