Tematem pracy było przedstawienie nowej myśli pedagogicznej w poglądach i działalności Janusza Korczaka. Publikacja przybliżyła postać Starego Doktora będącego jednocześnie pedagogiem, pisarzem i lekarzem. Praca omawia jego najważniejsze poglądy, dzieła skierowane do dzieci i dorosłych oraz autobiografię pt. Pamiętnik. Ponadto ukazano także współczesne spojrzenie na tę wybitną postać.
The theme of this thesis was to present the new pedagogical thought in the views and activities of Janusz Korczak. This publication has introduced closer the character of Old Doctor who at the same time was also a teacher and a writer and a doctor. The thesis deals with his most important views, works aimed at children and adults as well as the autobiography entitled "Pamiętnik". Furthermore, this work shows the modern look at this remarkable personage.
