Challenges for the legitimacy of the Chinese Communist Party during the fifth generation leadership

The paper is a an assessment of the stability of the rule of Chinese Communist Party and the legitimacy of its reign - subjects of a vivid academic debate. Both challenges, that have to be faced by the CCP and solutions proposed by the party, which from a holistic perspective lead to a transformation of the development model of the People's Republic of China have been described and evaluated. Furthermore, the paper is also a brief prognosis of the changes that shall take place in the People's Republic of China in the upcoming years.
