Cloudy world of art. Emotional and identity portraits of the artist-uncreative in the prose of Young Poland

The thesis deals with the different approaches issues the impotence of the act of creation among the artists of Young Poland’s prose. It is divided into two parts - introduction philological and an anthology of texts.Portraits of artists presented on the merging planes , emotional and of identity. Showing the ratio of contributors to the arts and the creative process, as well as the impact of the world presented and form of literary works of their own works and comprehension the issues of art and creativity in their broad outlines. Excerpts of prose included in the anthology and the heroes whose portraits are analyzed in the introduction has not always been dictated by the value of literary works. Primarily focused on the identification of several varieties the impotence of the act of creation, including specific terms of emotional behavior creators and artists the formation of identity in reference to the value of art in their lives.

Praca dotyczy różnych ujęć zagadnienia improduktywizmu wśród artystów prozy Młodej Polski. Jest ona podzielona na dwie części - wstęp filologiczny oraz antologię tekstów.Portrety twórców przedstawiono na łączących się płaszczyznach, emocjonalnej i tożsamościowej. Pokazano stosunek autorów do sztuki i procesu twórczego, jak również wpływ świata przedstawionego oraz postaci literackich na dzieła własne oraz zagadnienia sztuki i twórczości w ich ogólnym zarysie. Wybór fragmentów prozatorskich uwzględnionych w antologii oraz bohaterów, których portrety są analizowane we wstępie nie zawsze był podyktowany wartością literacką utworów. Przede wszystkim skupiono się na wskazaniu kilku odmian improduktywizmu, w tym charakterystycznych pod względem emocjonalnym zachowań twórców oraz formowaniu się tożsamości artystów w odwołaniu do wartości sztuki w ich życiu.
