Illness and the world presented in the autobiographical works of women. On the example of Eda Ostrowska.

In view of the experience of every man must ask ourselves not only what the disease is, what has the physical and mental conditions, but above all how it changes the life of a man, and how does it affect creativity. The main question is how the disease can affect the world represented in the literature.They were taken into account the position of the three artists: Virginia Woolf, Susan Sontag and Małgorzata Baranowska. The main text which has been analyzing and interpreting this diary Edy Ostrowska Oto stoję w deszczu ciała [dziennik studentki], taking into account the nature of the discourse of privacy. Category autobiography was recognized from the perspective of the work of women and logotherapeutic dimension of writing. Cited were the position of Paul Ricoeur, Philippe Lejeune, Janet Verner Gunn and Małgorzata Czerminska.

Mając na względzie doświadczenie każdego człowieka należy zadać sobie pytanie nie tylko, czym choroba jest, jakie ma fizyczne oraz psychiczne uwarunkowania, ale przede wszystkim jak zmienia ona życie człowieka oraz jaki ma wpływ na twórczość. Główne zagadnienie pracy to próba ustalenia w jakim stopniu choroba może mieć wpływ na kształtowanie się świata przedstawionego. Pod uwagę zostały wzięte stanowiska trzech artystek: Virginii Woolf, Susan Sontag oraz Małgorzaty Baranowskiej. Główny utwór, który został poddany analizie i interpretacji, to dziennik Edy Ostrowskiej "Oto stoję w deszczu ciała [dziennik studentki]", biorąc pod uwagę specyfikę dyskursu prywatności.
