Outstanding inteligence and level of emotional inteligence and empathy

Niniejsza praca ma charakter empiryczny a jej celem jest wykazanie związku pomiędzy wybitną inteligencją płynna a inteligencja emocjonalna a także empatią.W badaniu wzięło udział w sumie 61 mężczyzn w wieku od 21 do 23. Grupę badaną tworzyło 31 wybitnych intelektualnie studentów matematyki. Grupa kontrolna składała się natomiast z 30 niewybijających się intelektualnie studentów różnych kierunków, z wyłączeniem kierunków ścisłych. Użyte metody to Sie-T autorstwa A. Matczak (narzędzie przeznaczone do badania inteligencji emocjonalnej), Indeks Reaktywności autorstwa Davisa (kwestionariusz badający poziom oraz profil empatii), Matryce Ravena w wersji dla zaawansowanych ( narzędzie służące do pomiaru inteligencji płynnej) oraz aparat krzyżowy (zazwyczaj bada refleks, w badaniu służył do pomiaru aktywności neuronów lustrzanych). Hipoteza badana wiązała się z ustaleniem relacji pomiędzy wybitnym intelektem a inteligencją emocjonalną oraz empatią. Wyniki potwierdziły wstępna hipotezę, wskazując na istotne różnice w zakresie powyższych cech w porównywanych grupach.W ramach części teoretycznej zostały zaprezentowane definicje oraz wybrane modele zmiennych porównywanych w badaniu. Pierwszy rozdział poświęcony był problematyce empatii. Przedstawiono w nim modele pojęcia w kilku ujęciach a także prześledzono struktury mózgowe będące neurobiologiczną podstawą empatii. Kolejny rozdział dotyczył inteligencji i skupiał się na przedstawieniu kilku różnych modeli pojęcia. Część teoretyczna poruszała dodatkowo problematykę inteligencji emocjonalnej oraz neuronów lustrzanych. Ze względu na przywoływanie teorii systemizowania Simona Barona-Cohena, a także analizowanie zmiennych takich jak inteligencja emocjonalna oraz empatia, konieczne było przedstawienie zagadnień związanych z zaburzeniem autystycznym.

The purpose of this work is to demonstrate the relationship between outstanding intelligence, emotional intelligence as well as empathy.The study involved 61 men aged 20 between 23. The test group consisted of intelectually outstanding students of Math, whereas the control group consisted of average students of different fields, with the exception of science subjects. The methods used in this study are Sie-T methods created by A. Matczak (a tool designed to test emotional intelligence), index of reactivity created by Davis (the questionnaire examines the level and profile of empathy), Raven's Progressive Matrices (a tool to measure the intelligence of a liquid) and a cross-engine (usually examines reflexes, the study served to measure the activity of mirror neurons). The test hypothesis involved the determination of the relationship between outstanding intellect, emotional intelligence and empathy. The results confirmed The initial hypothesis, pointing to The presence of significant differences in terms of the above features in comparable groups.As part of the theoretical, I would like to present selected models and definitions of the variables analyzed in the study. The first chapter was devoted to the issues of empathy. The aim of the work was to present the concept in a few scenes as well as to examine the structure of the brain is neuro-biological basis for empathy. Another chapter dealt with intelligence and focused on the production of different models. What's more, some of the theoretical issues deal with emotional intelligence and mirror neurons. Due to the recall of the theory of making a system Simon Baron-Cohen, it was necessary to present the issues associated with autistic disorder.
