Praca magisterska prezentuje portret człowieka ponowoczesnego przedstawiony w dwóch argentyńskich powieściach opublikowanych w XX wieku: "Gra w klasy" Julio Cortazara i "Los impacientes" Gonzalo Garcesa. Opisuje cechy i tożsamość człowieka ponowoczesnego XX wieku, tło społeczno-historyczne lat 60. we Francji oraz lat 50. i 90. w Argentynie. Analiza literacka skupia się na portrecie człowieka ponowoczesnego, jego korzeniach w świecie nowoczesnym, jego związkach oraz postawie wobec społeczeństwa i historii.

La memoria de licenciatura presenta el retrato del hombre postmoderno mostrado en dos novelas argentinas publicadas en el siglo XX: "Rayuela" de Julio Cortázar y "Los impacientes" de Gonzalo Garcés. Se describen caracterésticas y la identidad del hombre postmoderno del siglo XX, el fondo socio-histórico de la Francia de los años 60., la Argentina de los años 50 y los años 90. El análisis literario se centra en el retrato del hombre postmoderno, sus raíces en el orden moderno, sus relaciones interpersonales y su actitud ante la sociedad y la historia.

The thesis presents the portrait of the postmodern man in two argentinian novels published in the twentieth century: "Rayuela" by Julio Cortázar and "Los impacientes" by Gonzalo Garcés. It describes the caracteristics and the identity of the twentieth century's postmodern man, the social and historical background of the 60s decade in France, the 50s and the 90s in Argentina. The literary analysis is focused on the portrait of the postmodern man, his origins in the modernity, his relationships and his attitude towards society and history.
