Etyczny i prawny status zwierząt. Prawna ochrona zwierząt

Tematem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej jest prawny i etyczny status zwierząt. Ukazuje ona prawną i etyczną ewolucję, jaka zaszła na przestrzeni wieków. Najważniejszym aktem, będącym podstawą do przyznania praw zwierzętom jest Światowa Deklaracja Praw Zwierząt. Wprowadza ona zasadę dereifikacji, która stała się podstawą do ustanowienia aktów prawnych ich ochrony. Celem niniejszej pracy jest ukazanie moralnego i prawnego statusu zwierząt w dzisiejszym świecie. W tym celu omówione zostały najważniejsze teorie filozoficzne oraz akty prawa od czasów starożytnych, aż po dzień dzisiejszy. Rozdział pierwszy koncentruje się na aspekcie filozoficznym, kolejny rozdział porusza kwestię prawną, omawiając najważniejsze akty prawne. Ostatni, będący podsumowaniem dwóch poprzednich przedstawia założenie humanitarnej ochrony zwierząt.

The subject of this master's thesis is legal and ethical status of animals. It shows legal and ethical evolution which occurred over the centuries. The most important act, which was the base to grant animal rights was Universal Declaration of the Rights of Animals. It implemented the principle of the ,,dereification”, which became a ground for establishing the acts concerning the protection of animals. Showing the moral and legal status of animals in today's world is fundamental setting this work. For that purpose the most important philosophical theories and legal acts were presented from ancient times, until the today. The first chapter is focused on a philosophical aspect, another partition is raising the legal issue, discussing the most important legislation. Last, being a summary two previous, describes the humane protection of animals.
